The HPC is the world's first dedicated surf training facility which has just secured a federal government pledging of $2 million for a dedicated training facility. It is expected that the new national training centre will be operational by the end of 2011, for full information CLICK HERE

The HPC still offers the following services:

Silicon Coach DVD Analysis

Silicon Coach is an innovative computer software program that allows coaches to analyse your surfing. Surfers receive a DVD which includes a compilation of your surfing footage with:

• Digital pencil drawings identifying where a surfer can improve technique
• Comparisons with the world's best surfers
• Audio commentary from your coach

Skateboard Training

Due to shifting conditions, surfing can never offer the same wave environment to repeatedly practise manoeuvres and technique. This is where skateboarding comes into its own. Carve up the roads simulating your surfing bottom turns and re-entries to make technique adjustments that will make all the difference when you hit the water for your next surfing session.
