Surfing Australia’s High Performance Centre (HPC) is the Worlds first dedicated surf training facility. The location was specifically targeted, being 15 minutes from the world class point waves but far enough away to allow cutting edge training and coaching in un-crowded conditions along a wave rich coastline in an ideal climate.
Surfing Australia HPC is the world renown leader in High Performance surfing and surf coaching programs. Working closely with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), the unit creates programs that provide local, national and international surfers with the opportunity to reach there surfing goals and potential.
The HPC provides a world class facility for the coaching, training and testing of high performance athletes in a fully serviced “live in” environment. Facilities include a state of the art gymnasium, a heated 25m swimming pool, full sized sporting fields and tennis courts.
