Byron Bay Malibu Club Inc
Our home is Watego's Beach, a beautiful rolling malibu wave, breaking from the most easterly point of mainland Australia, with Julian Rocks as the background.
We have a strong community focus for our club and welcome all new members.
Monthly club contests are held usually at Watego's Beach [north side of Cape Byron]. All ages from masters down to kids divisions are catered for, male and female.
The annual Byron Bay Bowling Club Malibu Classic is run by our club as a charity fundraiser. The last few years have seen significant donations to local charities including the Byron Bay Ambulance, Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol, Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, Headland Trust, Byron Hospital, Victor Chang Heart Foundation, Cancer Council.
The roofed BBQ at Watego's Beach has been provided for the community by the club. Support is given to club members who have reached state and national team selection to help them further their competitive success.
