1) Trials - Open to all Surfers as long as "Age Criteria are met" 2) Invitations - Invitations have been sent out to surfers who are invited to the event based on Australian and State Titles 2012/2011 3) Age criteria - Surfers in all divisions must be "of age or younger" throughout 2013. E.g. 16&Under years surfers may turn 16 years old or younger throughout the entire year of 2013. As long as surfers are of age or younger as of the 31st December 2013 they are entitled to surf in the event - same for all 20&U, U16&U and 13&U divisions. 4) Entry - All divisions are limited, with entry allocated on a first in first served basis. Please call (02) 9349 7055 to place your name on the reserves list. 5) Single division entry only. 6) Trial surfers who progress through to the main event will not have to pay any extra entry fee.

The renamed and revamped "Teenage Rampage OZ Invitational" will see Australia's most elite surfers aged 20&Under, 16&Under and 13&Under surf at Maroubra beach from January 18-20 2013 ending the summer school holidays. 

The series has been reinigited into a one-off event in 2013 for the best of the best in Australia. Based on Australian and State Titles results (2011/2012) competitors will be invited to the event to battle it against the countries best. Trials will also be open to all with progressions to the main event.

Format/Schedule/Round limitations for 2013

• NEW - An 20&Under male division has been added to the Teenage Rampage Oz Invitational with $1000 Prize Money for 1st place.
• NEW - Within 20&Under male divison highest placed main round NSW competitor will receive a free entry into the "NSW Open State Titles" March 2-3 2013 at Cronulla.

• All Trials - Surfing Australia 50% Progression Straight Knock Out
• Main Round - 20&Under Male = Surfing Australia 50% Progression Straight Knock Out
• Main Round - 13&Under  & 16&Under male and female Divisions = Teenage Rampage round robin 2x rounds format into Semi Finals and Finals

Entry information

• All invitations for the main round of the Teenage Rampage OZ Invitational will be sent via email direct.
• Selections are made based on results Australian Junior Titles 2011 as well as respective state titles for 2012. 
• Anyone who does not receive the invitation can enter online below through the trials divisons.
• Entries will open this Wednesday 24th of October 2012 at 5:00pm below "Enter Here" tab.
• All Trialist and Invitee's must enter online
• The trials are first in first gain positions. 
• All surfers must be of age or under in 2013 to gain entry to their specific division.
• Please call Surfing NSW to place your name on the reserve list of divisons are full.

Event History

• Since 2007, more than 2500 kids have participated in the O&E Teenage Rampage around Australia.
• 2013 will be the first year the former grassroots junior's series will be compressed and fine-tuned into an elite invitational event.
• Former World Tour Surfer Phil Macdonald and will be onsite checking out the talent as he has been since the beginning of the Teenage Rampage concept.

Other activities

• Again in 2013 Wombat's Happy Hour of craziness will be running throughout the three days with a bunch of giveaways, prizes and crazy fun for all competitors.
