LEVEL 2 JUDGING COURSE

Surfing Tas with Surfing Australia will be holding a Level 2 judging course the weekend of the RipCurl Gromsearch (4-6 November 2011) - we will be taking names of anyone interested. Anyone interested in being accredited as a Level 2 judge, will not need to have their Level 1 accreditation, as the Gromsearch is a National event & will allow fast-tracking to Level 2.  ELITE JUNIOR TRAINING COURSE

The Southern Tasmanian weekly squad is a training group for surfers aged from 12 to 18 who are members of state surfing squads or who feel they have the potential to be members of state surfing squads.  It is open to both males and females and will be run at Clifton Beach on Wednesday nights from 5pm until 7pm.  Training will be primarily focused on technique development through utilisation of video analysis, but will also cover the nutrition, physical development and competition strategies that will help you become a more successful surfer.  We will aim to run every Wednesday FOR 10 WEEKS but retain the right to postpone training due to extreme circumstances.  ( ie the points are going off!! )  If numbers are too large for just the one group we will break the groups into two based on levels of surfing experience, happy surfing, see you soon.
