Tassie best surfers to surf Trials event for Wildcard spots at the ONeill Coldwater Classic

Confirmation has been received that the top six open and two junior surfers off the 2010 state series ratings will receive invites to the 6 Star O\'Neill Coldwater Classic, held on the West coast March 23-29, 2010.
In 2009 current State Champ Dustin Hollick (Clifton) , won the trials and went on to match it with world tour surfers, picking up some handy prizemoney before being eliminated by former ASP World Champ CJ Hobgood.
The state series events before the O'Neill Coldwater Classic, are the Red Herring Surf Bruny Island Classic, South Coast Junior and Rip Curl West Coast Classic the events will be guaranteed a solid fields of entries.
In 2009 Dustin Hollick, Luke Johannesen, Jy Johannesen, Luke Bugg, Hugh Wescott and Hamish Renwick , Leon Bateman and Matt Kennedy qualified for the trials and will be keen to do so again, but of host of others will vying for the trials spots .
