North east Boardriders Family fun day and tag team

North East Boardriders hosted a tag team/family fun day at the Scamander Rivermouth on Easter Saturday.

Despite the cooler southerly breeze, the great atmopshere was warmed by great live music, snags and burgers cooked on the North East Boardriders.

The team event was held in 3ft slightly onshore conditions at Scamander rivermouth, despite the testing conditions competitors made the most of the testing conditions, standouts included Ned Bramich, Zac Gray & Jye Pribil.

6 year old Mia Pribil was an inspiration in her first surfing event .

North East Boardriders first club round 2010 will be held at Scamander on Saturday May 8,  Meet at the rivermouth carpark 8am.(bbq after)

North East Boardriders will be at this stage competing in the 2010 Jim Beam Surftag , and also hope s to field at team to the Kirra team Challenge.

North East Boardriders will be continuing its focus on Junior Development , from those wishing to improve there surfing, to aspiring surfers at the elite level, the club has level 1 and level 2 coaches
