North East Boardriders held there MAY MADNESS!!!! surf comp on Saturday 8th of May.

A solid roll up of surfers were greeted with sunny offshore 1m peaks at the Scamander Rivermouth.

Great surfing in all divisions with  some high scoring waves, former state champs Ben Richardson & Micheal Holt lead the charge with some radical aireal moves.

HIighlights for the day included 10 year old Rastin Godejohann, for his gusty effort out the back & 12 year old Tagon Robbs who in his first ever surf comp excelled in the conditions.
After the comp members relaxed over a few snags and burgers cooked on the NEB bbq.
