2012 Wahu Surfer Groms Comp - Ocean Grove

Condition:
To be eligible to enter Wahu events (events 1-6 of the series) you must be under the specified age as of the 31st December 2012. To enter events (7-8 of the series) you must be under the specified age as of the 4th February, 2013. All divisions are limited, with entry allocated on a first in first served basis.
Divisions:
Multiple division entry is permitted.
Under 13 - Boys (FULL), Under 13 - Girls (FULL), Under 15 - Boys (FULL), Under 15 - Girls (FULL), Under 11 - Boys (FULL), Under 11 - Girls (FULL), Under 9 - Boys (Parents Assist) (FULL), Under 9 - Girls (Parents Assist) (FULL), Under 7 Boys and Girls mixed division (Parent Assist) (FULL)

Description:
ICONIC Australian beach brand Wahu in partnership with Surfing Australia will be changing the colour of the approaching summer, with the dates for the acclaimed Wahu Surfer Groms Comps released.
 
In 2012/2013 the eight event series will hit the shores of four states (NSW, VIC, WA and QLD) and will once again play host to the exciting, all-grommet affairs.
 

The surfer groms comps cater for the mini, mirco groms (U/7) to the big kids alike (U/15) of any level, and is all about providing a fun, but competitive environment. There will also be loads of prize giveaways and tons of beach games.

Each entrant will receive a Wahu Surfer Groms Comp t-shirt for entering, plus a Wahu beach product.

There will be tons of action throughout each event day with daily award giveaways across the surfing and beach game disciplines, which state branches will be coordinating.

As an added bonus to the series, the respective winners of the Under 13 boy's and girl's division from each event will receive an invite to attend the exclusive, all expenses paid three-day Wahu Surf Camp at the Hurley Surfing Australia High Performance Centre.

While there is some serious competition planned, the main objective is to get kids active and having fun.

Surfing Australia invites aspiring groms of any level to come along and have a go via entering online through their respective State Branches.
