Play It Safe By The Water Surf with the Boys Tour Presented by Oakley kicks off in Portland in a week!

(Torquay, VIC - Tuesday, 1^st February2009): The Play it Safe by the Water Surf with the Boys tour presented byOakley will begin its 2 week long trip in Portland next week to show up andcoming male surfers how to be safe in the water while surfing with some ofVictoria's best surfers.

The tour will visit 11 locations across the stateover the two weeks.

WQS (World Qualifying Series) Surfer and Rip CurlPro Bells Beach runner up Adam Robertson (Portland) and fellow WQS surfer JackPerry (Jan Juc) will be on hand at all locations to surf with the boys and passon some valuable knowledge.

Participants will be learning and hanging outwith Robertson and Perry and with both surfers looking to continue their WQS campaignsin 2009, there will be some world class surfing on show for the boys toexperience first hand.

This is a rare opportunity to receive coachingfrom two of Victoria's best surfers and is not to be missed.

Robertson is stoked to have this program in hishome town for the up and coming surfers in the region.

Oakley has joined forces with Play It Safe by theWater this year to present the program after a hugely successful partnershipfor the Surfing for Girls Program in December.

Entries are limited for the day so anyoneinterested is encouraged to get their forms in as soon as possible.

The days are for intermediate to experiencedsurfers and are a chance for them to further their surfing skills.

The sessions are free to all boys and willinclude a talk on surf safety, how to perform a beach rescue and a free surfingsession with Adam and Jack.

The program is a joint partnership between Oakley,Surfing Victoria, Life Saving Victoria and supported by the surfing industry.

Participants are to meet at Bridgewater at9:00am.
