Large swell and rain forces cancellation for Mallacoota boys.

(Mallacoota, VIC - Monday 15thFebruary 2009): A large swell, driving rain and strong winds forced acancellation of the Play it Safe by the Water Surf with the Boys Tour Presentedby Oakley in Mallacoota today.
Instead of going surfing, the boys got the chanceto chat with pro surfers Adam Robertson (Portland) and Jack Perry (Jan Juc).
The boys got to know the pro surfers over an hourwhilst talking about water safety when surfing.
The swell and strong winds are expected to abateover the next 24 hours providing more suitable conditions for the LakesEntrance day tomorrow.
Entries are limited for the day so anyoneinterested is encouraged to enter online at www.surfingvic.com as soon aspossible.
The days are for intermediate to experiencedsurfers and are a chance for them to further their surfing skills.
The sessions are free to all boys and willinclude a talk on surf safety, how to perform a beach rescue and a free surfingsession with Adam and Jack.
The program is a joint partnership between Oakley,Surfing Victoria, Life Saving Victoria and supported by the surfing industry.
