Championship Moves
Championship Moves is the Victorian Government's latest initiative to curb alcohol fuelled violence. The campaign is anchored in personal choice and advocates that young men need to take responsibility for their mates.
The key objective of the campaign is to encourage behaviour change in young men aged 18-25 in order to reduce alcohol fuelled violence in our streets and entertainment venues.
Championship Moves is excited to partner with Surfing Victoria to communicate the message that real champs look out for their mates and take pre-emptive steps to avoid violence.

Victorian Major Events Company
The Victorian Major Events Company (VMEC) was formed in 1991, as part of a Victorian Government initiative to attract international cultural and sporting events that require global state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure.As well as putting Melbourne and Victoria on the world stage, these events help to raise Victoria's international profile and have a positive financial impact on the state. VMEC, SRV and Surfing Victoria work in partnership to deliver the Rip Curl Pro, the world’s most iconic surfing event, to our state.

Surfing Victoria and Vic Roads have developed a strategy to communicate Vic Roads' key messages to young drivers.
- Learner drivers need 120 hours of practice to become safe drivers.
- Don't use your mobile phone whilst driving.
- Drive to your skill level.
- Know the road rules.
- Don't drive fatigued.
The Vic Roads Surf With The Boys Tour takes professional surfers Adam Robertson and Jack Perry to 11 locations across Victoria to mentor young men in how to become better surfers and how those lessons translate into becoming safer drivers.
