Australian Skin Cancer Clinics further bolsters it’s support for surfing in 2017
Exciting news has recently emerged in Queensland that Australian Skin Cancer Clinics (ASCC) have further bolstered their support for the sport of surfing in 2017 by signing on as naming partners for the 2017 Australian Skin Cancer Clinics Immerse SUP & Paddle Festival set to be held on the Gold Coast on the 22nd-23rd of July. Immerse is Surfing Queensland’s blue ribbon stand up paddle event and will see the state’s best athletes take to the water over the two days.
The news is strongly welcomed by the surfing community, with ASCC continuing to provide unwavering support by fostering a culture of learning and care where openness, information sharing, creativity and empathy are encouraged, recognized and rewarded.
“Surfing Queensland are thrilled to have ASCC on board for the 2017 Immerse SUP & Paddle Festival and are we’re looking forward to another successful year of competition,” said Surfing Queensland CEO Adam Yates.
“With Queensland’s surfing and paddle community enjoying spending time in the sun, the partnership was very natural for Surfing Queensland.”

The 2017 Australian Skin Cancer Clinics Immerse SUP & Paddle Festival will run over two days this year and includes both State Qualifying and Community divisions in technical racing and marathon to cater for competitors of all levels.
