Three Crowns Media Group partners with Surfing Queensland to amplify events and support Olympic and World Champions

Three Crowns Media Group (3CMG) has this week announced a three year partnership with the peak state surfing body Surfing Queensland. The partnership is a positive opportunity for both 3CMG and Surfing Queensland, each working in conjunction to energise the Olympic sport among grass roots, support events and broaden the audience reach.

3CMG includes Coastalwatch and Surfing World Magazine within its portfolio of action sports platforms. Coastalwatch hosts more than 100 beach-front surf cameras around Australia that provide not only, live, HD viewing for surfers and ocean users and also monitor coastal conditions, marine activity and provides additional support for state Surf Life Saving services.

Coastalwatch receives over 3.5 million page views monthly and has a highly engaged coastal audience, making it the perfect place for Surfing Queensland to increase, promote and captivate their biggest potential viewership.

3CMG will provide a strong new national media footprint for Surfing Queensland that will support their events, activations and partners annually.

Together 3CMG and Surfing Queensland will provide and implement a new level of exposure for the talented and upcoming kids, our potential Olympic champions of the sport as well as supporting youth and indigenous programs.

3CMG General Manager Doug Lees said, “We’re thrilled that we are able to help bring grassroots state surfing into the homes and devices of more people in Australia.”

“There’s no better time to be part of the surfing community as it becomes more professional and inclusive and we’re stoked that we can provide any additional reach or support for Surfing Queensland.”

Surfing Queensland has produced some of the world’s finest surfing champions including; the first World Champion Phyllis O’Donnell, 3 x World Champion Mick Fanning, 6 x World Champion Stephanie Gilmore and Joel Parkinson.

“Surfing Queensland celebrate our partnership with 3CMG Group, we recognise the strong presence it will give across both print and digital platforms as well as offering further value to our current & future partners. We are excited about working with the team at 3CMG to achieve effective creative content,” said Surfing Queensland CEO Adam Yates.

The partnership with Surfing Queensland has been initiated ahead of what promises to be a huge summer season across Queensland’s surf beaches.
