RENWICK DOMINATES 2018 HIF BRUNY OPEN CLASSIC

Hamish Renwick found the difficult Middle Bay one to three metre surf  to his liking with a great exhibition of power surfing, finding high scoring waves often against the odds. Hamish went on win the AIRASIA WAVE OF THE DAY AWARD for his 8.5 ride with four great manouvres in the Open Final to nail victory.

THE 2018 HIF Bruny Open was run and won on Saturday in solid and at times trying conditions for surfers, spectators and officials. However, as usual the focus was on the surfing at Middle Bay in one to three metre surf with variable west winds, even glassing off for the finals. Many thanks to Event Director Jo Goldfinch, Head Judge Michael Schmidt, volunteer judges and officials.
