Healthway

Healthway seeks to promote and support healthy lifestyles to reduce the   burden of preventable disease in Western Australia. Healthway provides sponsorship to sports, arts, and racing organisations to promote healthy messages, facilitate healthy environments and increase participation in healthy activities.

The key priorities for Healthway are reducing harm from tobacco, reducing harm from alcohol, reducing obesity and promoting good mental health.

Reducing harm from skin cancer and teaching people to be SunSmart is another of Healthway's priorities. If you're outside surfing or being active, make sure you protect yourself in 5 ways - Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide.

Sunsmart

SunSmart is a multi-faceted program recognised for providing leadership and innovation in ultraviolet radiation (UV) protection. Programs operate in each state and territory of Australia, all using common principals but tailored to specific locations. The sun protection message has expanded to Slip! Slop! Slap! Seek! Slide!

Remember to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek & Slide this summer!

Health Insurance Fund of Australia

Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) is proudly Australian.  Since beginning in 1954, we have grown into a provider of high quality health insurance solutions to around 50,000 people across all age groups.  Most of our members live in WA, but we also cover individuals, couples and families from every other state and territory of Australia.

HIF is an open access, not-for-profit health fund.  Any surpluses we derive belongs to our members, and ultimately, are returned to members through lower premiums, new and better rebates and improved customer service.  We regularly improve benefits, we keep a “tight lid” on premiums and we don’t spend millions on advertising.  Our best recruitment tool is member word of mouth.

HIF is committed to providing our members with the best possible level of cover, benefits and service. We are continuously reviewing our products to ensure that they deliver the best ‘value for money’, quality healthcare and provide the peace of mind that our members expect, in their time of need.

RAC

RAC doesn’t have shareholders, which means we reinvest our profits into benefits for our members and WA, such as supporting community initiatives that make WA a better place.

Over the past few years, we've given back over $1.5 million through our Community Sponsorships program. Our sponsorship support aligns with RAC’s priority to deliver safe, sustainable and more convenient travels options for our members and the wider WA.

That’s why we’re proud to support Surfing WA’s ‘No Txt No Wrecks’ road safety campaign that aims to educate young people about the dangers of distracted driving, in particular texting while behind the wheel.

WA Road Safety Commisson

Based on research, evidence and community engagement, the Road Safety Commission is responsible for providing road safety advice to Western Australians.

Towards Zero incorporates the Safe System, which aims to improve road safety through four cornerstones: Safe Road Use; Safe Roads and Roadsides; Safe Speeds; and Safe Vehicles.

If all cornerstones of the towards Zero strategy are fully implemented, we have the potential to save 11,000 people from being killed or seriously injured between 2008 and 2020. That is a reduction of around 40 percent on present day levels.

Our long-term vision is of a road transport system where crashes resulting in death or serious injury are virtually eliminated.
